… SO! Remember like maybe 2 or 3 weeks ago when I stated I “would rather die” than date someone who didn’t share the same political beliefs or at least damn near it?
Well, okay, this has been in our inbox for like 3 weeks and I’ve been debating on whether I should answer this poor girl or just delete it and rinse my eyes out with fabuloso floor cleaner. I’m not going to get too into this or start discourse with an anonymous icon because I’ve already managed to get a headache typing this out and all I’ve said so far is that I’d like to rinse out my eyes with floor cleaner.
ANYWAY, sis. Hears the 411. I have no idea about you and your Trump Supporting beau, but if I’m to go off the message you’ve sent.. I’d say he probably doesn’t value and love you as much as you think he does. You’re a woman of color and a large portion of Trumps supporters have prejudices against marginalized groups. This isn’t a secret and yet he voted for him.
It doesn’t matter if he NOW realizes he made a mistake. Also, supporting Black People and #BLM doesn’t include voting for Twitter Fingers who attacks black people on the regular and has denounced #BLM on multiple occasions. He doesn’t need to say anything racially insensitive because who he supports spoke for him.
Who are you trying to convince that your boyfriend cares about you in this message, beloved. Me or you?
So yeah, it’s been about 2 weeks but I’d STILL rather die than be in a relationship with someone whose morals don’t align or at least are SIMILAR to my own. See a lover isn’t a family member or coworker. It’s someone who you willingly invite into your life so you have a choice…
why would I willingly invite someone whose morality doesn’t reflect my own into my life?? Like… Am I drinking stupid juice? Did I wake up this morning and have a hearty bowl of headass???
